My heart was spilling out over this, I couldn't even watch all of the second video, it's just so sad. The first one gets stuck in your head and is even brainwashing. :[;;
I don't know what's more tragic in modern-evangelism today, in forsaking the real gospel of Jesus Christ, completely deceiving and not rightly interpreting the Bible and teaching the wrong God..they turn Him into some kinda disordered nut that lowers His standards to our puny human standards. I feel crushed

The church today tries to make itself "cool" and "appealing" to the teenagers of this day, how tragic! This is just one of the many examples, more aren't even video taped. You don't make Jesus appealing. You can't MAKE Jesus be appealing to the world, to those who are dying in their sins. The Bible says,
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV)
The good news of our sins being paid for, to us who have repented and put our trust in Jesus daily, the Gospel is the POWER of GOD to us who are being SAVED. Not to the world, the world mocks it, but to us who understand and are saved, we are deeply thankful and do all we can to please God our Savior--not because we are saved by works, but we are saved through faith. And by our faith, if you have true faith, doing good deeds are only a byproduct of that genuine, evidential faith. (I have to be detailed here)
He's either the Savior of your soul or not, you're a true convert or you're not. Jesus Himself makes Himself VERY clear on the, "there's only TWO kinds of..______(blank)" issue. Two builders (wise and foolish), two paths (narrow and wide), two sorts of fruit (bad or good), two foundations (rock or sand) two destinies (hell or heaven) two kinds of followers (goats or sheep)... There is NO middle ground. You're saved, or you're not!
I am tired of the attitude of the church today. It's the the kind of attitude that enjoys pleasure more than conviction, a false sense of hope rather than the hope that is in being created new and freed from this sinful flesh we are in.. to be found in Christ and be with Him forever and ever. I LONG to be utterly free from sin, and free OF sin. I myself am NOT perfect, but through Christ I am being made perfect. That entire perfection has not yet come (obviously) but it will soon. (Not in this life, but the life to come in Heaven)
Please please pleasee listen to this sermon, it will knock you off your feet (or chair) It did so for me. There is an urgency in the Scriptures that the Lord and the prophets make, for all to come to repentance and trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

The day of each our deaths is unknown, but the return of the Lord is approaching. But what difference does it make?

First off, about the false prophet Todd Bentley, please check out The Lawman Chronicles and look up "Todd Bentley" or keep up-to-date with the journal entries (which are fantastic), Tony Miano boldly preaches outside the "Todd Bentley crusades" the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of repentance and the forgiveness of sins through Christ... not the social, modern gospel that man has created. (the gospel that says, "God loves you, He'll give you health, cars, wealth, blahblahblah ::no mention of repentance, righteousness, Judgment, Law and grace...::"
For proof that Bentley is a false prophet, do a little research...or just check out his Youtube videos. Does this seem like a "man of God" to you? :/ Know that just because someone performs "miracles," doesn't necessarily mean they are from God. Jesus said false prophets will come and perform "miracles". Even the hypocrites would come to Christ and say so, but never were saved. (Matthew 7:22-23) Wendy Alec, co-founder of God TV and the co-host of The Rory and Wendy Show, sponsors the false revival with Bentley and has even made a false prophecy stating that Jesus Christ would visit Lakeland with a divine one-to-one PERSONAL visitation. Jesus warned of people like this, and to steer clear from them.
If you watch it, you'll notice Bentley, after repeating the "prophecy" by Wendy, tried to make "clear" that this prophecy doesn't mean Jesus will come in the flesh. Well, gee, Wendy sure didn't phrase it that way. Divine, personal, visitation Does he mean the "slain in the Spirit" stuff? That isn't God, that isn't even Biblical, I myself have been "slain" and I am here to tell you it isn't God..it's hypnotism! It can be seen done in eastern mystic religions, like in Hinduism.."kundalini" "chakra awakening" ... God doesn't do the same stuff the nonbelievers or pagan religions do! No, the Church is to be set apart. It's shenanigans, and it isn't from God, nor is it clearly described in the Bible. It's sensationalism, it's feeling, it's not God. :[
To top that off, Jesus said, "At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time." (Matthew 24:23-25 NIV)
Hollywood and God I am growing more and more disgusted and ashamed of Hollywood by it's use of blaspheming the Name of God, the One who has given us life. Whether or not you agree, it's not respectful, imagine you take your mother to a movie and throughout the movie they use her name as a curse word or a way to express disgust. Not only would you feel embarrassed, you should be deeply offended and upset.
I was watching "Spiderwick Chronicles" with my little cousins, and (this is terrible of me) but after they said "oh my G-d" 3 times, and then said, "in the Name of God's Son" (it got personal. I'm pretty confident I heard the girl say that) even if not, I decided it was NOT in ANY way right for me to tolerate it and sit there and watch the movie, even if we had already rented it. I gotta practice what I preach, what I tell people, or else I'm a hypocrite and God's gonna get my behind! I admit that was wrong of me, but after that "last straw" I stopped watching it. I should have stopped watching it after the first, OMG-d."
It hurts, it's deeply offensive to hear the Lord's name like that. Do you hear Muhammed's name like that? (the terrorists would try to bomb us all the more again) Or Buddha's name? Or Krishna? Confucius? How awful! No one's name should be used like that. I don't care if it's society, it ISN'T right. :[

Please read my previous post regarding Todd Bentley and being "slain in the spirit"
I don't even know how to put this in words. But it all started (for me) on April 16 at my youth service at church.
Listen folks, even if you are soundly saved, God will allow certain things in your life for you to experience (even things that cause deception) in order to reveal the truth behind what's really going on. Take for example, the "signs and wonders" movement you hear and see a lot of. Now, I do indeed believe God still does miracles today...that is, when it's in agreement with Scripture...but this stuff you see here today...it's not in line with Scripture(the Bible) at all.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" - Jesus (Matt. 7:21-23 NIV)
I am deeply, deeply concerned about all of this. I have done a great amount of research over all this, it certainly wasn't an overnight conclusion but God brought me from, "I believe it's You--Oh please let it be You--God's if it's not You help me understand---It's not You, it's deception out of ignorance." Did I doubt? It wasn't so much as that, like anyone who wants their own personal desires to be true, I clung to my own thoughts over this and wrestled over it... but then I realized, miracles, whether counterfeit or true, no one should EVER base their foundation of Christ on it. Why? Because God's word is all we need. Christ's death and sacrifice on the cross is enough for us, His grace and saving us in itself is enough.
Please my friends, I urge you to take the time to look into this if you are a Christian (or even if not, so that you know this hooblah isn't even in the Bible, rather, it was prophesied these things would happen through false prophets/teachers Mark 13:21-23, Col. 2:16-19, 1 Tim. 6:3-5, 2 Cor. 11:12-15)

Anyway, this stuff is about the false prophet Todd Bentley, being slain in the Spirit, and the reason why this is so dangerous. (Making people think they are healed, giving false hope, receiving "touches" from God)
I myself have experienced being "slain in the Spirit" and may I say, this IS NOT from God, nor is it of God. I am thankful that the Lord allowed me to go through the experience, 'cause if I had not, I would have not been so convinced. Doubtful it's not God? Then please take the time to listen and watch these. Don't be led by emotions, but as the Bible says, "Come, let us reason." So let us reason. :)

I looked into the Kundalini/Chakra business. It's remarkably similar as to what is happening in the charismatic "signs and wonders" movement today. And may I add, God commands us to in no way live or adopt practices nonbelievers do. The Church isn't to partner up nor associate itself with heathen customs or teachings, but be separate from them. This why I am posting these videos, if people like Todd Bentley can do this sort of stuff (not to mention cults as well) and deceive the people into thinking it's a movement of God, then why would God (if it really were Him, say, when true pastors/teachers do this out of ignorance) being displaying His power in the same ways cults present it?
I wept over these videos, because so many people are being drawn into deception and the worst part is, it's not even Christ-centered. There's no genuine salvation and repentance taking place. There's no growing desire to love and witness to those who don't know Him.
And then take another look at Benny Hinn, he's just as questionable as Todd Bentley. I've done a of lookups on him, I've given him a second chance because of a dear friend of mine who likes him a lot, but I'm convinced this dude is a fraud too. Especially since he wont even answer to the media about having all this money. Shouldn't he rather be investing it in the poor, and for the furthering of the gospel around the world? (like supporting missionaries) :[
Is this movement even Biblical? God isn't the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33,40) and "everything needs to be done in a fitting and orderly way." Research on this would get any reasonable person to conclude that this isn't biblical, nor is it from God.
And I thought to myself, "Why in the world did I never post this? XD" So... here I am. :D Oh oh, PLEASE download their podcasts off iTunes! I love Todd Friel, he is just an awesome, talent radio host.

I hope I don't sound boastful, I don't intend to! But over these past several months God has shown and taught me so much...and I know I've spiritually matured a lot more than how I was months ago...or a year ago XD' Which leads me to say, if you don't like me now, you wont like me even more! <3; And no... I did not become a "mega religious nut" or extreme religious-right (ahhh neverrrr---I think everyone has a different definition on that) Although..I will share that I am working more on the area of love and mercy. Not that I'm loveless or merciless, but let me share with you some examples of what I mean.
For love, I am not talking about the "pampering, feel-good mushy-feeling" type of love the world wants, I mean the kind of love that denies oneself to go out of its way for someone else. Like sacrificing your time to help the homeless, the poor (who actually aren't able to work or I also mean, people in Africa type-poor) Yeah...something a long those lines. For mercy, I mean when someone is in need of help...from dropping school books all over the floor to cleaning someone's house for free, I dunno whatever. In my case, these things gotta happen mainly in my school. And you [Christians] are you thinking about, "Who and in what way can I spread the love of Christ too?" it should be everyone...but I found that I can't juggle tons of people at once. Nor do I want to do any juggling, because that just harms people in the end and does no good for them!
Anyway, I'm talking too much. I wanted to share on more thing...I said this to a friend online, and I hope you will read this and apply it to your situation:
A little over a year ago they told me I had only a few weeks to live. I'm alive right now because of Jesus. I figured, if God has brought me this far, He will see to it I'll make it all the way through.
